Few people were part of #GX when we were just a clan when. At the time we had around 7 members and later, we disbanded in the summer of 07'. About 2 months later Cyber joined the project and wanted to help make the site. And so, a rough but cohesive friendship was made as we built the academy from ground up.

We worked for a month and a half, trying to find times when we were both on.

Anyways, after those long 6 weeks we had made the academy but only had two members. One way or another we got some 5 more members. From there on, more and more interest came into the academy.

We went on. Every forum I advertised in said the same thing, "your forum will blow out in a couple weeks so don't worry about it." We kept working and working till we realized we have 28 members, and then came the Spamming from Pojo, hopefully no one saw that very adult content and I realized that the use of censors was necessary.

As we grew more members went inactive while double of that joined so we were healthy and growing. I always looked for my old clan members but they were nowhere to be found, so with a sigh, I turned my back on #irc for about 3 weeks till OUR academy could walk by itself.

And Lo' and Behold here we are. I take some credit but I didn't do all of it. Kennings, Rushi, Perfect samurai, Omega, Ejoverlord, and all my early members, Thank you, Where you're learning right now is the fruit of your labor and perseverance and not leaving "That no member academy."

I am honored to be teaching here. It is a learning process for all of us, and I learn as much from my students as they do me-making me a better teacher every day. And don't say I did all the work because it's not true. I may have posted the nice and concise explanations for everything, but you made this site. Bravo, Scourge, and long live GXDuelSchool!
P.S. I am "exotic?" XD What the heck does that mean? And "ambitious?" You are the ambitious one! I am content to teach Ra. And darn, the full moon approaches. :]

Kennings is the one who drafted me...... I had low expectations when i joined. I always said "No Clans", tell kennings told me this is not a clan. Once i joined, i was the only one the #gx room. Then others came, I was like, "just cause we say no monarchs, i hope these aren't gonna be a bunch of noobs." Then i played Rushifa, illogical to her female state. I play her and she had a Great amazon and harpie deck. I played her like 4 or 5 matches that day. When she told me she was kinda new, I couldn't believe it!!!! I told her, for her to be kinda new and doing so well is great, and that she is on her way to greatness. THEN i found out bout her womanhood. Unfortunately, I was in shock. I was like OMG.. It honestly shouldn't ake a diff. Most women i must try not to flirt with, Rushifa aint a big fan of flirting anyways {Unless with bowie}j/k.

Since then i have been a regular, looking forward to GXing, even some of the homeworks... cept 2 or 3 of Cyber commanders, LOL.

I am very impessed and hope we all grow together.

rush, i think thats exactly what he meant. irl i only know 1 female duelist.
she only duels because her boyfriend does. and she has him build the decks.
and i know quite a few duelists.

at our regionals tournaments there are a few but it pales in comparison to guy duelists. but strangely enough, any one that ive had the privelige to talk to had the same lovable personality that our dear rushi has

But I am glad to be here. Even though we are in different time zones, we can all get together to discuss a game we love.
